IUGO is seeking a Part-Time Studio Support employee to aid the People Operations team with overall studio, and any extra support as required with the eventual end goal of helping you gain a role in game development (E.g.; Software Engineer, Artist, UI Designer, etc.) at IUGO. You genuinely love tidying spaces, and helping organizations reach their desired environment with supporting the culture through events. You have a happy attitude enjoys working with, and helping people. This is a great opportunity for someone trying to get into the gaming industry. Our aim for this role is to foster growth and building connections.

COVID-19 Protocol:

Our employees are currently given the option to either work remotely from home, OR from the studio. Our entire interview and onboarding process can be completed from the comfort of your own home. All applications will be considered, however we want candidates to remain aware that IUGO will return to the studio once it is safe to do so.

Average Schedule:
Monday - Friday; starts at 15 hrs/week gradually building up to a max of 30 hrs/week. *Could be a hybrid schedule of working from home/working from the office depending on how quickly the role expands, however the role will be expected to work from the office Monday to Friday. 


  • Office cleaning/disinfecting to maintain safety requirements from WorkSafe BC (approx. 1-2 hours Monday - Friday)
  • Tidy around office spaces
  • Lift objects such as chairs, light tables, etc. when we require help for event set up, or take down
  • Efficient with your time, and use the allocated time at work to support the studio in other ways not listed within the job description
  • Event support/creation -  in-house, and in-office game launch parties, team events
  • Payroll/time-off support
  • Studio engagement support
  • Job shadowing with positions of choice with IUGO subject matter experts (after 3 months) 


  • Diploma/degree in game-related discipline is preferred (ie. Art, Engineer, Game Design, etc.) 
  • Able to use, or learn technology to communicate with employees such as texting, Google Suite, email, etc. 
  • Must be available during the outlined scheduled times. Some flexibility with hours 
  • You’re genuinely a happy/joyful person, and you take pride in the above responsibilities 
  • We are offering a starting hourly amount of minimum wage 
  • Bonus: experience with Adobe suite
